Been down to Jabbasport this morning to get the Passat chipped. 154cv (French bhp measurement?) as standard, 199.9cv when finished. Doesn't half make a difference, something actually happens now when I press the accelerator. Half throttle it accelerates as smoothly as it did, just faster, but give it some welly and it surges forward. Don't regret changing from the Vento quite as much now Now it just needs a cd changer, bigger wheels, stiffer suspension, etc..... I'm sure I told myself I wasn't going to modify this one
Still parked round me mother's. Going to the Whitley Bay meet on Sunday, see if any one up there is interested, if not i'll stick it on the classifieds, and poss. ebay next week.
