today i am abit happier then i was yesterday! car is lowered now 40mm looking sweet ICE back in tommorrow much lower at the back after 2 12" subs go in! still no alloys yet though [:^(] [:^(] RIGHT! to the point! today i was offered that 2.0L passat in exchange for the fuxed G60 and i mean the WHOLE car! this kid is putting the G60 in a mk1 polo so am very eager to see that! but before i go and exchange my fuxed engine for this 2.0L i need to know will it fit???????????????????? it has ALOT of performance parts on the engine i said he can keep cos there used and durty i.e air intake, interior, exhaust and the alloys (trust me as bad as i want alloys these are in BAD condition!) so what you think? worth it or will it not fit
the passat engine will fit your mk2 jetta if thats what you are asking, use the mk2 head to simplify things. Check the 2.0 conversion FAQ for details. The G60 will not fit the mk1 polo without some serious work, fabricating subframes and modifying bulkheads etc. Or maybe he's going to cut the floor out and weld it into the back.... get him on here to explain himself! sounds like fun!
yeah thats what i want to know! will the passat engine fit a mk 2 jetta the pasatt is a 1993 am ashamed with the car at the moment cos i am back to a 1600 [:^(] i think the passat is a 16v too it has about 175bhp in the car its in but if it will fit in my car i want to replace the cams, tappets, pulls EVERYTHING Edited by: Mk2 Jettagod
