    Is it me, or are most jubilee clips these days bad quality ?

    Ive bought a few from various different places -

    * Halfords
    * ASH Motorsport
    * Ebay

    Ect...

    And most of them have been very bad quality, even the stainless steel ones.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction of a good supplier with good quality clips.

    Cheers. Rich. :thumbup:

    Cheers :thumbup: :thumbup:

    I'll look into both of them. Im sick of buying bad quality ones, which seem to break and bend easily.

    Mikalor are the way forward! We use them at work for our fish ponds so they spend their life under water and never seem to corrode! Not cheap but better than all the chinese rubbish that seems to have flooded the market!

    I should of gone for genuine ones first of all. :thumbup:

    Exactly what happened to me :thumbd:

    I did buy a few good sets from GTI Internation 2010. There was a seller there selling bags of 10 for 5 each. Great quality but ive run out!

    Will look into those genuine ones or the clamps above :thumbup:

    Also worth getting the flexible driver for them, 7mm hex so no more slipping with a flat blade screwdriver :thumbup:

    For Mikalor try www.anyclamp.com even have an ebay shop.
    There was a discount code in the members section
    -but that was listed in May 2011, it may still work.

    I use Norma hose clamps. Havn't had a problem with them yet! All stainless, hi-torque. Used to get them from Normfest, a division of Eurocarparts. Nothing worse than a crappy hose band!

    Another good clamp I use which I failed to mention were these.

    My Halfords has Norma Clamps which are great IMO. They're just boxed in set of 10 (of each size). Discount card works for them too. I've got a nice stock of them as I always need them :thumbup:

    Stainless Mikalor clamps if you can get them.

    I get mine from an hydraulic hose fitting place near me.

    They're really well made and have a kick up on the outer edge so as they don't bite into the hose.
