So then, the topis this month is Pantone. A really good topic. Here are the entries Antinkariba - Winner pascal77uk Mifkif Chris Eyre Voting will last for 7 Days. ( I am actually away till Tuesday so will sort it out when I get back!) Please vote for you best photo that falls into the topic of Pantone. Some good photos this month, really creative! No voting for your own photo Good luck.
Cracking shots all of them, but I`ve voted for the one that was exactly the same as the idea I had, but didn`t get round to (and I don`t think it would have been as good anyway...)
was just sending mine now, i'd just logged on to look at the pixel requirments, looks like i'm a bit late....
Here it is, actually taken 1 hour after the comp was started: Maybe worth putting an end time and date on the next extension Ant....!
Don't worry, Ant - it was a rubbish picture, through a shop window. There are lots better pictures in this month's comp
Well, if it was taken an hour after the start why didn`t you enter it straight away? You had a month without any extension anyway. You snooze, you lose, and all that...! I`ll let Ant answer the question, but I suspect he was very busy (seeing as he does it in his time...) so not really his fault.
Mark, apologies that you missed the comp, however it was very quite this month and not many entries. I assumed, despite adding an extension to it, no one else was going to enter so rather than slow it down I put the photos that I had up. If you had sent me a message or something saying you were going to enter, like a few other people did then I would have waited. I will however in future put a date on any extension!
I guessed that from the extension, so thought i'd bang something in to help make up the numbers. Nice one.
Some great photos this month! Well done guys! I really liked photo 3. I wanted to do something similar but realised that I had no pencil crayons... so smarties instead! Will think of a topic for the next one!
Well done to Ant Special observation points to the person who voted for mine! It's the roof of my ex-VW Cup track car, which is painted in Pantone 287.
Well done Ant Ironically I wanted to do the Smarties shot, but didn't have any and kept forgetting to buy some Matt
I like Chris's photo some real thought in that and understand the theory in it. It was too easy to just take a picture of the 'Pantone range' the subject was much more than that. Ant's photo was technically good and won. It was a shame to see such a small entry which could have delivered such a wide and diverse array of fantastic photos.
