Just got confirmation from the Patent Office that my Patent Application has been granted. GB Patent GB2457520 www.sockitz.com This is the one for my disposable shield , so fingers crossed for all my other Patent Applications . so things are looking good , got my Trademark earlier this year for SOCKITZ and now the Patent . http://www.ipo.gov.uk/t-find-number?detailsrequested=C&trademark=2515490 cheers everyone how gave me their backing on here.
Congrats Would you PM me a rough figure of costs per patent/consultations with patent atorneys and the such, as I'm playing with some ideas for car parts, but wondering if it's worth the bother.
that is a superb idea. i lost count of the number of times i tripped out fuseboards while bonding in chases. always used to hold the sparks up too, coming back for the 2nd fix. that was with connaught, i'm sure they'd be interested in your product as they do a lot of work in social housing, where the homes are inhabited. this could really help them to appear to be safe. best of luck! edit: just one small question brookster, what made you decide on the colour yellow? apparently in colour therapy the colour blue has been shown to have the strongest emotional assoiations with feelings of comfort and security..
Cheers Connaught made it Company policy to use them on occupied social housing refurbishments last year
Where can I get my hands on some of your sockitz matey? I'm just about to gut and rewire my old cottage and my plasterer buddy reckons they'll be a good idea as we'll be doing bits here and there rather than all in one go. I.E I'll be needing juice in rooms as we go rather than 1st fix - renser - plaster - 2nd fix.
Yellow was chosen for "Hazard"or "Caution" as with road barriers and construction safety equipment etc.
You sure you would trust someone again? Congrats though, How long did the patent take to get approved?
Good news for you...........Nice way to end the year after all the Sh**e youve been through this year!!!
