ok so it is on a laid up policy with HIC but 55 is a good price. it is even insured in pieces if you are mid resto!! been with them for a few years now and the service is first rate
Blimey, I need to look into this. Can you take it out and drive it at all or does it have to stay in the garage as the name implies?
it has to stay in the garage. to use it on a limited usage 1000 miles policy was 230 fully comp for that little use a year i would rather pay 55 as much as it pains me to not drive my mk2. at the moment i have a daily commute of 120 miles so the mk2 is not used.
I use HIC for my insurance and they're very accomadating - great company for insurance on engine swaps, etc with agreed valuation. Didn't realise they offered a laid up policy tbh, good to know.
Just read my question back and it looks painfully dumb. I meant could you move it between garages if needed but you answered that
