k&n filter

    Ive just fitted a k&n panel filter to my 2.0l 170 gttdi and been told that they aren't much good and get oiled up quickly.anybody any experiences of this or any opinions good or bad.

    A mate of mine gave me one for my GTi and I find it OK. If I'd paid for it, I may have been disappointed...
