Once took the Mk1 Polo into mrs d.'s polytunnel.

Measured the door opening. Measured the Polo. 10mm clear each side.

Cleared out all of her crap plants.

    Drove the Polo in.

Turns out, that the widest part of the Polo are the small plastic trim bits at the front of the rear wheel arches. They stayed outside![:$]

Could the 16v already have pride of place in the Mk1 outside?

With the amount of hot air you 16v folks waffle all the time, us "real engine" folk need all the help we can to keep our papers on the table.

16v owners are paperless! Far more modern!

Anyway, what's in the danster residence parts depot?

You do not want to know how much stuff there is in every conceivable space I have spare. I do not even want to think about listing and taking pics of it all. I fear the internet would collapse.:o
Suffice to say, lots (which is never quite enough);)

I better add mine....I may throw the cutaways up on ebay actually as I nearly killed myself on them the last day:lol:

I couldn't photo the full table due to top secret parts on the other end but you get the general idea...

This picture reminds me of the day recently when I helped a mate pull down his garage to make way for a new one.

Dilemma was; where to put the Mk1?...

Quick weigh-up had us thinking it could have quite easily gone through the patio doors into the dining room. His missus was having none of it though...
