    Hi peeps,
Looking for a better turbo, I have found someone that will make me a KKK Ko4 Hybrid. The difference is they fit a larger compressor wheel to a modified cover and back plate, 360 thrust bearing with cutback blades on the turbine wheel...plus a couple of other little tricks internally bits
BUT and its a BIG BUT is the price 1521.00 inc vat
I have been looking into HIH's or Garrett but there lots of money this will give around 320/330bhp.. and its fits straight up [:D]

GT28RS or GT2871R, They wont fit straight up but you can get them in dollars www.atpturbo.com and buying that + the correct exhaust manifold should still cost you less than 1500

richgit got almost 300 on a stock ko4, would it be worth 1500 quid for 30bhp?

ATP and garret must be a cheaper route

Ya mine is 290ish running 25psi boost, the 330bhp is what he said it will run all the time so i think it would run more if you would like it too!
Plus my insurance would not change is it would just look like a Ko4!!!

voodooelie, Do you know the price of that turbo? PM me if ya like!
I have sent voodoo motorsport an e-mail but no reply as yet!

But i'd like this turbo run's bigger BHP i'm thinking long term, forge piston's ECT [:D]

    GT3071R

Based upon the same turbo as the HIGH flowing, larger framed GT3071R, but conveniently packaged into the same style turbine housing as the popular GT28Rs/GT2871R turbos. This turbo is uniquely configured with its own turbo wheel trim, turbine A/R, and compressor housing. Unlike, the GT28RS and GT2871R, this turbo now has a much larger compressor housing to support the much higher flowing 71mm compressor wheel. Comes with T25 style inlet flange.

Sorry pic will not work DOW [:^(]

yah but you still have to get a manifold and the gt28rs will run upto 340ish with lots of boost pressure and i hear that the turbo Lag is out of this world!!!
The IHI was a good price brand new and its IHI's new turbo with 12month warranty.. should have very little lag 200-300rmp more than my Ko4 and will be 330bhp using 1bar with uprared pistons and rod could see 400bhp not that i'd go that mad  330-350 will be the lot and the turbo shouldn't even brake into a swet ;)
