KR distributor seal replacement question

    Read the "how to"' guide on here and wanting to know how tight is the drive pin is ? looks like it would be hard to support the body so hoping its not too hard to remove ?.

    pretty tight, I used a selection of sockets but a vice would make life easier as I had to balance it all and try to stop the socket flying off into the garage :lol:

    Thanks John ,I used to overhaul Bosch VW dizzies so would expect it to be as tight as them,I removed it and didn't look closely @ it and it turns out the seal is ok but the base "o" ring is the cause,internally it is dry of any oil ,another muppet has been there as there are vice jaw marks on the body so this will need to be seen to.
