They are closing part of the road between where i live and where i work, admitably i live a 1min walk from work, i still drive. So i was asking how i'm going to get to work, one lady suggested i walked, as feet were made before cars, i replied "mine weren't" I got a slap for being a clever poo [:$]

if i walk i'll burn off energy, then i'll lose more weight, hence why i wan a forklift licence. This way i never have to walk anywhere!

wtf? driving 1 min isnt doing your car or you any good as far as I'm concerned. I think you're just making up excuses to be a lazy git!

I used to walk 20 mins to the train station when I lived with my mum for a few months inbetween moves a month ago! And now I live on the 3rd floor I use the stairs nearly all the time. And feel healthier for it already. I'm pretty slim too, but I can tell its already making a difference. If you do the excercise, you'll want to eat more, so as long as you do, you should get fitter.

    good comeback though

    That is true, unfortunately!
Nearly killed my car on Thursday night, as well. Was going for a blast down the Cheddar gorge when a bloody goat ran out in front of the car.
Stupidly, I swerved to miss the bugger and nearly ended up into a rock face.

Damn those goats! I think vdubgirl will know what I'm on about!

Could have made a few quid selling it to the dodgy paki butcher down the road - jamaicans and ethiopians eat a lot of goat meat.......
