    Hi,

my name is Steffen, I already started a build thread on my MKII but since the other cars are either not worked on or do not fit into this forum, I may show them here as a small introduction. I feel like I have some issues but as long as it only shows by buying cars I don`t need I think I`m fine.

#1 `85 MK2 postal service golf (currently getting restored)
    10636615_811025588929727_8653672677791016668_o.jpg

#2 `70 Audi 100 C1 currently waiting for paperwork, about 85% finished restoration.

#3 `90 124 300TE-24 Sportline - fixed the rust issues and repainted it, some BBS for style credits
    IMG_2021082441_202230.jpg

    #4 `90 MK2 Syncro - not sure why I bought it, need some rust issues fixed but otherwise a nice car, 154k km/ 95k miles second owner. Also behind car #5 and #6, a T4 2.5TDi syncro and a MK3 Golf, I believe it is a 1.8.

    #7 is a `73 Audi 80 B1, it`s only a shell and waiting for some tinkering
    tiktktiukui.JPG

    #8 is a B6 1.8T, it is a donor car for the B1.

#9 is my old daily, a B5 A4 1.9TDi which I bought back for reasons unknown to me. #10 is my current daily, a `11 A4 TDi, and #11 is a B5 RS4 which I also bought without a proper reason present. Currently no potos of the latter.

If your girlfriend or wives ever complain about you erratic behaviour concerning cars, feel free to show them this.

Awesome, some lovely cars there. You do have a problem but that said, if I had the space, I’d have a problem too[:D]

You have the disease of obsessive fleet disorder, many of us all have [:D]

    Long may it continue [:^:]

Welcome and all a very special cars. My parents had a '76 Audi 80 when i was a kid (1.6 GLS), assume it is similar to yours maybe. Interested to see more of all of your cars and you certainly have the body skills to keep them perfect after viewing your postal van renovation thread.

Glad to see you`re enjoying the reasons why I don`t have free weekends.

@MJA: Yes exactly, it is basically the same car, `76 I believe was already with a minor facelift. I think it is a nice car. I had two other B1 before but the bodies had severe rust damage. I kept the parts and I bought a decent shell in the hopes of making one functional car out of it again.

I`ll try to make some pictures of the other cars so you get the whole picture.

That would be great - memory lane for me on the Audi 80. On google i think yours has the nicer round front headlights whereas my parents had the square ones.

Our Audi was donated to my Mum's sisters husband who had a Passat estate of the same vintage for parts at the end of its life. I assume it rusted out and remember the back seat being full of mould and the footwells full of water in it's last days with us c1991

Another semi-intersting Audi 80 story - when my Dad picked the car up from the dealer in c1983 he took it for a spin only for the engine to sieze because the the dealer forgot to put any oil in it. The dealer did put a replacement engine in for him though.

Such a nice fleet you have there. I'd love to own a mk2 syncro one day. Any chance we can see some build threads on some of the others?

    @daNpy: None that I know of [:D]

@afbiker02: I can show you some work I`ve done to the other cars

For example the Mercedes: It was overall a solid car, but the old clear coat was flaking off and it had some spots where it needed new sheet metal.

Original plan was to take care of the spots that needed attention and do a partial respray. This plan went south quickly and it ended in a complete respray, including all the bumpers, side skirts etc.

    Then off to paint:

    Back from paint:

I just wanted some nice cars to drive around and I was covered in half-finished cars, what a fiasco

    And the Audi 100 C1:

Last registered in 1987, it stood for a while. The car itself was surprisingly solid so I "just" took care of some rust spots and the mechanical stuff, like tank, selfmade bushings, complete overhaul of engine etc:

    IMG_20200403_215328.jpg IMG_20200529_011624.jpg IMG_20200510_230355.jpg Unbewwewewenannt.JPG

    Bung for electric cooling fan:

    IMG_20200330_172957_790.jpg IMG_20200705_001511_068.jpg

Also rear axle shortened, HP Drivetech Airride w/ Bilstein shocks, adjustable panhard bar, adapter for Gotti wheels etc.
    IMG_20200816_220358.jpg IMG_20200816_220336.jpg IMG_202rrr_0rfr247.jpg

Car sits currently as I was waiting for paperwork. without the paperwork it was not possible to register the car again, so I stopped working on it as it felt like a waste of time. (Or even more waste as it already is? I let you decide). But now I finally received the needed papers and I will try to finish it for next season!

Also I built some cars that I do not own anymore.
My first shot at tinkering with cars was this MK1 with a 2l 16V ABF:
    mk1.PNG

I also had a Civic that I took to Morocco (picture was taken in Tanger)
    maroc.PNG

After that 10.00km round trip I decided to make it nicer and drive to Wörthersee (This time the picture was taken on Villacher Alpenstrasse):

I also did a K70 at one point and made some pictures on a drift track:

Quality work there ! I really like that k70 ! Granted you don’t do things by halves,
Every car seems well finished to a high standard! Well done !!!
