Limited engine code

whats the engine code for the 16v g60 limiteds?

mnake me think it was a KR that VW motorsport modified. VW may not have issued a new engine code for just 70 odd custom build motorsport cars!

 

yeah I looked on there seems something like a PK is mentioned.

 

yeah, saw that. really need a german speaker, i thought that was some power output figure. i checked PK on ETKA and got no matches.

 

I think it is KR, most of the engine stuff is KR anyway.

Why do you need too know?

I do not think you will find it on ETKA, because all parts that was made for the Limited only will be VW Motorsport parts

 

curious to see which bits are in common with a KR and PL.

 

g60 engine code would be PG mate

 

yeah me knows its PG but the PL had the CIS-E and wonder whether they incorroprated anything form the KR and PL to go into the limiteds

VW Motorsport didn't do much to the base engine other than lower CR with a different headgasket and fit the digifant from the G60. And of course the Rocco 16v manifold
