    Got home from work and had this nice cardborad box sitting here for me:

    Well, it shouldn't break - it should make my car faster, until it tops out at 130....

    They are brand new to go into a my Mk2 16v gearbox.

    You could save time and money by simply smashing them to pieces, before actually having them installed?

    think he has a different final drive for the 16v box, ie accelerate quicker up to a slower top end - think thats right!

    look awesome tho! vw motorsport! hmmmmm [:D]

    Yes they are a shorter final drive ratio.

    3.94:1 rather than 3.67:1 (i think thats right for standard)

    Means i will only do about 130 flat out - but get there faster.

    They are stronger than a standard set, higher quality metal and treated.

    Cost was in the region of 500 [:s] [:D]
