I've driven the 1.4 16v none sport version and it's scary above 60mph. Not fun. With sorted suspension they are so much more drivable at higher speeds. Well the obvious brakes, suspension, roll bars, alloys and tyres. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the GTI's also have the battery located in the boot and some panels made from Aluminium (wings etc)?
