How easy is it to do this? Have lowering kit (shocks and springs) and have spring compressors. Know Haynes will say how to remove them but can this job be done in a day. Never done suspension before..

    Cheers.

Pretty easy. To do the front end you are meant to have a special tool to do the top mounts - we made one by chopping down an old 22mm socket and grinding flats in the side - you need to be able to hold the damper rod with an allen key whilst doing up the nut. Other than that it's all pretty simply spanner work - I'd never done any suspension work before either. Shouldn't take you more than 3 or 4 hours even as a first timer - reckon I could do the whole car in about 2 hours now.
