lubrication grooves in main bearings? ABF

    Location:
    Skipton. North Yorkshire.
    Hello,
    I've just received my Mahle main bearings but there are 6 shells with lubrication grooves and oil holes, and only 4 smooth shells. Is it okay to use a grooved shell in place of a smooth?
    ABF block with only one oil way per bearing. Do some have an additional oil way to the bearing cap?

    Bearing cap nr 4 need 2 grooved bearings as its closest to the oilpump and cilinderhead oil feed...
