Lucky SOB (Bora Coupe)

    You may or may not know that 'Project X', USA design firm 1552 Designs custom Jetta coupe, was sold of when they went bankrupt. There is about $80k of work in this car, made from a Jetta with side pannels cut out of a GTI, custome rear glass, VR6 with VF Engineering SC and all sorts of other complicated stuff. This guy got it for around $20,000 ... I want one!

    No wonder these companies go bust. I know they have to promote their work but spending $80000 on a car that they knew they could only ever realise $20000 on doesn't make sense.

    You have to be making getting a lot of work solely from that one car to warrrant a $60000 investment into the business.

    If you go to www.vwvortex.com, features, miscelaneous features...its in the achive, numbered Project X Parts 5-18. Interesting reading, the rear glass is custom made

    That does look stunning. shame they choose battleship grey as the final colour [xx(] . I don't understand why VW never made a 3 door Bora.

    Yeah its Audi Minbus Grey (TT) and I neevr got that either
