Basically gotta start considering my car for when I finish uni in 8 months time to rack up the millage. Both are the same to insure, but the prices of purchasing differ!

Polo GTI's are far cheaper than the Lupo's, but seem a bit bland!

Lupo's are faster, look different than stardard, but they seem a little bit too small for my driving to clients every day!

    Opinions please!

Lupo, crackin car, plenty room for front and rear passengers, but the boot is very small.

Even our 1.0 goes really well and handles superbly ;)

Just need to carry myself really and a few work files. Nothing special though!

How do the handling of the two compare?

Lupo everytime!![:D] The missus is still well pleased with her 1.4 16v(got it 3 months ago)!! Top little car, but the Lupo GTI is rarer than the Polo so more expensive!! Check this site out http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?act=idxand look in the 'For sale' section!!;)

    Lupo gti for me please.

It can easily hold 4 grown ups without any problems, loads of room for a tall driver and passenger, the boot is small, but i gather you wont need that unless you carry a lot about.

nothing girly looking about a well modded lupo,

    taz

Polo for me, I just prefer the look of them. although the Lupo will be faster & probably handle better, plus aren't they all 6-speed? Which the Polo is not.

Lupo had some 5 speed boxes in the earlier models, but most are 6 speed

i have a lupo gti, and i'm not gay/camp in anyway! just saw it, thought it really stood out from the current vw offerings, and instantly fell in love with it! awesome car to drive, handles spot-on, goes well, and the six speed box is perfect! lupo, you know it makes sense!

Just seems that the Polo's can be around 1000-1500 cheaper than the Lupo, plus 'some' people have told me that the build quality is better in the polo plus it has less cabin, road noise.

    Keep the opinions coming!
