get a six speeder for sure!! driven both an the later six speed one is a bit quicker as there is always another gear handy to drop it down! loads of fun on the twisty stuff but no rocket ship!! but hey!! its only a 1600... its more like a mk1 gti i thought!! proper good fun! but mainly i think they look the absolute nuts!! there was talk at vw of a rs lupo! it got passed around and did seem like it was gonna happen,then blammo! vw scrapped it as usual!!
