Well what can i say about this w-end apart from how cracking it was! Great show for Lupo-s 1st outting

Very very happy with how it performed, never broke anything whole w-end and each time i driven it harder car responded with better times :)

Apart from 2-3 runs i forgot to switch haldex pump on so car was useless fwd lol

And gutted i had a failed start against Jordy due to some clutch creep at start line fouling the start line lights, damn!

But all in all great performance and best time achieved was 11.2 @127 Mph without any power adders so these times will come down fair bit once Nitrous is on :)

Thanks to everyone who came and said hi and praised the car

11.2@127mph, I reckon there is a 10.9 in there at the pod!

Saw the monster parked up at the rear of our stand. Did not get around to taking a picture though :(.

Amazing to follow this build for a year or so and then see it in motion. I caught the 10:37 run on Sunday morning from the top of the stands.

Apologies for the quality and the random **** crack.

EDIT: Found an external view of the 11.28 run.

So following a cars first outing which proved to be very successful without any issues and shassis coping very well with moderate abuse of the line i have now installed NO2 as a power adder so i can push the car harder next event which will be VW ACTION in august

I am using Wizard of NOZ kit which includes their own controller Maximizer which is a very clever bit of kit with many variables adjustable

I'v put in 75 BHP jets in there but for todays test i have programed controller for a gentle ramp up of Nitrous delivery and only 60% max delivery so basically about 40 Bhp worth of gas to see what kind of difference it makes

Found a quiet road and went for it

Well all i can say its WOW!

Spool was instant and car accelerated like a bullet

Racelogic Performance box recorded 1.03 G on acceleration, 30mph-50mph in 1.2 sec and 40mph-60mph in 1.7 sec and that was with gear change 2nd to 3rd

To put that into perspective 3 cars i found on tinterweb that can match those figures (30-50 mph) are Bugatti Veyron, Lambo Diablo 5.7 SE and McLaren F1

Very happy with that if i may say

See you at vw action :)

A day graft on Lupo turns it into a track weapon

If you dont stop teasing i may just do this for Curby!

    Put arb-s on

Add negative camber front and rear, do wheel alingment

    Put 312mm Brakes on

    Job done :)

But that's just not fare you can't possibly have a car that can tick all the boxeslol
You'll get nige saying it's not all about power soon ;) it's about usability and delivery and driver skill lol

This isn't inflammatory is it ??? :olol

A straight liner and track car with little modification our holy grail ?
