currently gathering bits for it, if i have missed anything or any help that could be given id really appreciate it,

    so far,

    double head gasket,
    arp bolts,
    m62 charger,
    g60 pipework,
corrado and golf intercooler(whichever i use)

    now a few questions,

will the std g60 charger bracket suit,
obviously i will need to drop the alternator, will the same bracket suit, no hassle if i have to make one up
can i run abf management with an abf afm?
can i run an m62 on a std abf intake manifold

i would really like to have the info all set out before i start the work you see,,

so far all i have is pipework and intercoolers so any other parts available let me know cheers

Hey abf. I have not done this myself, but hope to in the future.
I got my M62 with the intention of putting it on my 8v Mk3, did quite a lot of internet searching dug out a really good photo album of a guy called Samzik in Estonia who replaces his G60 charger with an Eaton. The link is here. Its quite a neat install & very well photo documented, but you will still need to make a mount to support the Eaton.

I have now got an 16v, so all my 8v research is not entirely valid.
Currently the plan for mine is to mount the Eaton above the water pump & below the alternator, how I go about this is something to worry about in the future once it is back on the road...

Best people to track down posts from are Nando or Eaton Mk2.

Hijack, I find it better mounting the eaton above the alternator on 8v's.

    Golden link, Cheers.

So you recommend getting an AC mounting bracket to relocate the alternator down to the bottom of the engine.
From the picture, is that an additional idler pulley (directly under the Eaton) & is it part of the mounting bracket?

Yes that idler gives a greater belt rap around the supercharger pulley which helps limit high rpm belt slip. It bolts on to the bracket. The OEM AC mounting bracket does make life easy relocating the alternator.

For the steel going into the bracket, how light material wise would you go?
