    Hi All

Done some measuring up, and I need to get a block decked to get the compression ratio up a bit.

Looking for a small, reliable machine shop who will do the machining and preferably put the block through a wash afterwards.

    Any recommendations?

    You have:

    - Ring Engineering on the Springfield Road Industrial estate (good for crank re-grinds)
    - Serdi in Uxbridge (Good for head/block stuff)

Dropped the block into Serdi's on Sat morning. Nice little shop, and looks stacked out with work too. He did ask me if I was really sure I wanted 0.75mm off the top of the block ;)

That probably won't happen in the Uxbridge area.

There's a wheel refurb place that I spotted near West Drayton, and been meaning to pop in and have a chat about some wheels, I'll ask how much it'd be for just blasting but I suspect 50 is a bit cheap tbh.

Blasting one-piece wheels shouldn't be that expensive, mine only cost me 5 a wheel at wicked wheels (probably wouldn't use them for anything else but blasting though)
