Good evening and welcome...and thank's for all the interest...

JMR has come of age...in fact JMR is technically no more...but JMR LTD is!

As of today, we are a fully fledged limited company with a bright future ahead. We decided to go this route to add increased credibility and show we are serious about what we do...we're in this for the long haul.

The use of "we" may give a clue as to announcement 2... enter stage left our new team member... Paul Talbot.

Paul is our Victor Kiam...he came to buy an engine, liked what he saw so much he asked if I would be interested in more than a little help!

In fairness I've known Paul for over 10 years...he will be a brilliant asset to JMR and will be looking after the admin side, organising events, and putting his project management skills to very good use...he can also turn a spanner when needed, and will be as much a part of the company as I am. He can be asked any question you would ask me so use him to the max!...info@jmrclubsport.co.uk is where you'll find either of us.

Paul is also a hillclimber...and a very good one back in his Mini day's. But this time around a very sound MK1 Golf resides in the Talbot garage which will be 1800 16v powered later in the year for his return challenge on the slopes. It will be a mod-prod spec car to take on the quick slick shod Escorts, Astra's and anything else in the class...Paul is up for the challenge & more than able...once we brush the cobweb's off him!

Congratulations to you both...I'd like to be the first to congratulate you and wish you every luck for the future (but by the time I've typed this I'm sure someone will have beaten me to it.... )

And number 3...I was'nt going to say number 2 for obvious reasons...ah..

Anyway....today also saw the launch of the new website!... www.jmrclubsport.co.uk is still the address, but with a fresh new look, more space to move, and most importantly it's now Google & smart phone friendly...so you can surf away at lunch time...or any other time you should be working!

    And number 4...

Space became an issue at the beginning of this year, so a bit more room was in order...

As well as our own products we will be offering some of the better products on the market and trying to save you a few quid as well, starting with...

    Newman Cams...

Newman had a bit of bad press a while ago with the MK2 championship...issues with incorrect keyway positions etc...which in fact was a sub-contract fault rather than in-house. Well, after seeing some of the recent quality and performance from some of their products...race 8v profile making over 170hp in a budget 1800 hillclimb engine... and a long conversation with Ken Newman, we're happy to sell their products, in fact, I've fitted them in two customer heads in recent weeks...one road & one hillclimb...results to follow when they hit the rollers.

    Piper Cams...

Piper have been producing cams for some of the top race teams in europe. My machinist uses nothing but Piper these day's in his customer engines...417hp @8,700rpm & 250+ib/ft from his Jag V6 hillclimb engine say's they know a thing or two about cam design!...and after dealing with them myself I have some custom profiles coming along with springs for a specific application...dyno results to follow once the engine is finished in the next few weeks.

There will be a discount structure to follow, but in the mean time contact us with your requirements if your considering either of the above for a project.
