McGard Locking Nuts - A warning!

I've had McGards shear off on the key side too, not only that, I had the 'high security' bolts and they have an extra piece of metal that turns freely so you cant just hammer on a socket.

Well, turns out they fall off with normal use as McGard are rubbish.

I've gone back to VW locking wheels nuts as they will stop your opportunist criminal and someone going equipped to steal wheels wont be stopped by lokcing wheel nuts anyway...

 

Thats so true. If somebody wants your rims they will get them.
