    Look at the file name. VR6TT. I am guessing it could be turboed which could account for the flames. Turbo cars are notorius for spitting flames are they not? I could not hear it as i am at work.

    but it doesnt split flames between gear changes but will when he revs it

    He's hitting the rev limiter, therefore ignition cuts out but fuel still pumping.
