    That might have been due to the Autotrader website when he entered the registration automatically filling out the car details. Happens all the time on Autotrader.

    mk2....was getting excited that it was a mk1 rocco just then.

    I think that rocco has been on autotrader and ebay a few times - same pics everytime. The interiors gash and the wheels are gold...

    we bought my gf's mk2 scirocco gt2 with 105k and very good bodywork for 550 and then sold the wheels that were on it for 100.

    Never understood why people put cars up for sale massively overpriced, then don't reduce the price to get it sold.

    Still a lot of money for an undesirable model of an old car. Does anybody really WANT a CL model, or are they just trading down from a GTI?
