Well as you all know i crashed the jetta!
well i was there to take the pics on friday afternoon and have been trying to get the money to get it moved.
yesterday (tuesday the 14th dec) i went to get it picked up and it was gone!

i am compleatly gutted and after phoning the police and the local council it has definatly been stolen as they aint moved it!

i live in the newcastle upon tyne area and the car was just off lady park lane in sunnyside gateshead.
i cant see how the car has been taken because it didnt drive (engine is sweet and runs) mainly cos the suspension and the inerwing are crushed up against the wheel so it couldnt be moved easy!
i need to find my car as it still had all my stuff inside of it!

My amps and subs are out and at home but my cd-changer and door speakers where still inside!
it also has things in the boot i need back like christmas presents and my tool kit.
the car was the red jetta as pictures off on forum and the reg was H725BVK

    Thanks for the help!

If anyone can honestly help him, let him know - Crispy 8V

that's very rough, I wouldn't necessarily beleive the council though as I had a simialr problem with a truly squashed fiesta parked in my own allocated parking space for my council flat.

The council denied knowledge of towing it (parking division) but it turned out they had towed it for "danger to the public" reasons which was fair enough really as it had lots of spiky bits of metal sticking out from it!!
they just hadn't thought to tell me?!?

I found that info out from the DVLA 18 months later

all I had in it was a bad stereo (kept for sentimental reasons) and some builders tools and pallets. The insurance paid for those though

    good luck

[it certainly wasn't going anywhere under its own steam as the engine was half way through the bulkhead and the front suspension looked like an elehant had sat on it!]

ah good to local authority organisation at its best.

I had a car taken away by the DVLA, they didn't notify me but rang the police and had a phone call back within half an hour telling where it was and who took it.
