...... Spoiler!!! [:x] [:x] On the way to exeter it decided to part with the car. Bye bye eye brow! Luckily it didn't scratch the paint but it scared the crap out of me when it hit the windscreen. Mind you it was windy!!!!! [:D] [:D]

If anyone finds it please give it a good home! [8D]

unlucky, ive completely lost one before
my current one tried to blow off but i rescued it

1st one had 3 self tapping screws
i would've thought 3 nuts and bolts would hold it

so now i have 4 nuts and bolts and 5 self tappers, i will not loose it again!

you gotta get the angle right so no wind can get underneath it and rip it out

I must take a note of this for when I get mine ;) .

    -lots of bostic

    -lots of nuts+bolts

    -lots of self tappers

    -no wind underneath.

Excellent, I think I have it all. [8D]

The way I see it, if there is so much wind resistance on it that it can tear off, then it must be causing major drag. Take it off and leave it off, its slowing you down (lol [:D]) and it looks better without as well ;)

Oops I had a similar incident with the lower metal insert on the grill :o
I lost mine going through one of my local villages I wondered what the hell I ran over and then when I got home i noticed it had gone. I drove throught the village the next day to see it looking very squashed and layed in the gutter :(
