MK 2 16v and 8v manifolds

After some original confusion with these we can confirm that the original TSR stainless 4 branch manifolds are available.

These are a TSR design and manufactured for us by Milltek Sport. They cost 265 (not the cheapest) but please bear in mind most of the cheap ones are for lhd cars and won't fit.

We must take 5 calls a week with people who have bought these cheap manifolds and they won't fit, this will cost more in the long run.

They are in stock for next day delivery.

 

do you still do the tall block manifolds?

 

unfortunately we don't do a manifold for tall block cars.

 

After receiving a lot of enquiries for a manifold for the mk2 golf with a tall block i have had a chat with the guys at Milltek and we can make one, costing would be 285. We do get lots of enquiries about these but i would like to get some registered interest before we go and order 20 manifolds. Please let us know your thoughts they would be based around our original manifold just made taller for the clearance.

Hi, do you sell the wire gaskets for these manifolds separately? as mine needs replacing.

We can get the wire gaskets if needed or a local motor factors should keep these.
We can make a loom but we would need a 16v loom to modify as we can't buy the plugs anymore.

May be interested in one of your tall block manifolds for a mk2.

Do you do any sort of testing on the manifolds (tuning the lengths/diameters etc)or is it a case of just get some pipes and make them fit?

Hi,

People who are interested in the tall block manifolds please PM we will try and get a list together. To make it worth doing we need 5 8v and 5 16v.

 

Will the manifolds come with a lambda probe bung welded in?

I'm also very interested in purchasing a quality TSR exhaust manifold for a 2.0 tall block 8V engine into a mk2 ...that would be awesome :-)

i would like one for my mk2 8v, converted using agg 2.0 tall block too, to mate with my milltek system.

i know these are pre production, and i do not argue with milltek quality as had one of there manifolds on a zetec-s, but would to know these will deffo fit without any issues.

im sure both 8v and 16v tall block varients will sell like hot cakes

We have spoken to milltek again this morning and we are going to make a sample ourselves and send it to them. We just need to find some tall block mk2's we can borrow for a few days.

 

...that's excellent news -- can't wait to get my hands on one of these !
