Hi, I have a mk2 gti golf, every journy the oil light flashes briefly and the buzzer sounds, i give her a quick blip of the throttle over 2000 revs and it stops for a while, engines gettin oil no problem, this a low pressure sensor problem?

I recently had the same problem, i managed to find some clocks 2nd hand and changed them and had no problems since. it's not always the sensor, but i believe its the cheapest thing to change :)

oil pressure sensors cost a couple of quid. the fact that its oil pressure id be looking to fix it rather than hide the problem
