contd, and what is agood replacement for it. im not after any aftermarket loud backbox but a vw part ie vr6, 16v etc and would these fit.
The back boxes are slightly different in that the 8v has the pipe that goes over the rear axel as part of the back box, and the 16v has same pipe as part of the centre box. Not sure about the vr6? Hope this helps
Chances are that the backbox that's on your car is just a cheap replacement, hence why it has only one pipe.
