My trusty Mk3 has devloped an irritating problem, when the engine heats up (clocked at 82 on the computer, how accuate that is, is anyone's guess ) the rev counter dies when the engine pulls over 2000 revs and the oil light comes on, when the engine falls below 2000 (ish) revs the counter starts up again and the oil light goes off. Oil has been checked, and is fine. Anyone got any idea? Regards Martyn
