    Hi,

    Just a quick question, did the big bumper Golf Mk II 16v have 15" BBS wheels fitted, or are they 14" as in the earlier cars?

    Thanks,

    Simon

    late ones had 15" BBS RA wheel the earlier ones had 14" Montreal (bottle caps as they are known) and some had 15" estorills but I'm not sure if they were and option or not

    Yeah, what he said - late Mk2 Big Bumper 16v cars had 15 inch BBS RA's... like mine! [8D]

    Thanks lads,

    That's very helpful;
    The BBSs look very nice, so I think that I will look out for one of those cars.

    Did these cars have any other spec differences from the earlier 16valves?

    Cheers,

    Simon

    Did any of the 16valves come with leather upholstery, BTW?

    Yeah, leather was optional. If you have a look on the Golfwizard site (www.golfwizard.co.uk I think) then there are some brochure scans showing all the options and stuff on the various models/years. :)

    Thanks for the link, Stu;

    I tried it but couldn't find anything under that title apart from lots of stuff about golf balls!

    Do you have any other URLs?

    Estorils (15") did come on some 16v's. My '90 spec has them.
