Well I would put some pics up but I haven't taken any yet. The standard of cars on this is amazing so I'm waiting for a sunny day to take some shinny car pictures.
Does anybody know any thing about the heated seats? Mine havent seemed to work yet. Does the outside temperature need to be below a certain level (like on some volvos) or should I attack the fuse box?

Just another queiry, Does anyboby know why the insurance is higher on a rivage cab than a standard GTI? Is it just the nickability? because it's quite a difference

It might be because the stickers are obsolete

From group 14 to group 17 because they'll never be able to replace the stickers after an accident. I like it, ha.

Rivager, I hope this one works - Photobucket has been a bit variable recently. As for insurance - I assume it's because it's a special model and rarer and worth more. As for being just because of the stickers ... hmmm. [:s] [IMG][/IMG]

not having much luck with your photos are ya mate. I just had a look at your site though, and it looks very nice, very tidy looking vehicle. Wierd to find one without the leather. But I envy you people with the stickers. Mine must of had some paintwork done and lost the stickers. I've just had stonechips and scratches taken out all over the car. I dont suppose anybody knows a way of getting the stickers? I heard that a guy in scotland was making them and selling them on ebay. However I can't find them

    Hi.

Yeah - I don't know if leather was standard, but you could opt not to have it, if you see what I mean. I have found that it's certainly a lot easier and cheaper to buy one with the leather, than have it re-upholstered, or try to buy second hand seats or material.
I had a similar conversation with The Chocholic about stickers recently, and found a previous thread where someone was having replica stickers made. You should be able to find it if you search under Chocoholic - it was headed Niggly Mk1 Rivage problems. Don't know if it will be of any use though. ;)

It is indeed a classic line edition - one of only 250 made! I understand from a fellow Rivage lover at my local VW dealer that there's only 82 green ones left in existance!

And very sadly (not to mention very, very reluctantly) I have now decided to sell it. If anyone's interested check out the full details at rivagecabriolet.com

I think mine may be one aswell, except it doesn't have a power hood. Is there a way to check the exact model etc?
