    Hi,
Need to decide on what wheels I want for my Cabrio fairly soon and am undecided between 16 x 7.5 Borbet A's (should be a howl to fit without rubbing!) or 13 x 8 ATS classics. Anyway to get an idea of how they'd look I've being trying to google a pic of a cabrio with ATS but to no luck. Dubmodder have ATS in their options but dont have a cab to put them on. Anybody got any pics on file by any chance? Or even a Cab on Borbet A's?

    Cheers

is it a daily driver ? if so i wouldnt opt for the ATS as they will affect your rolling radius a lot! unless you fit mahosive tires, and that will totaly ruin the look.

pah i have 16x8's on the back and it hasn't been to much of a problem....

so long as you don't slamm it to the floor and fill it full of heavy stuff ;)

@Axl - I never thought of that, what kind of reduction in speed do you reckon would happen?

@ Jon - The lowering would be the problem alright but I would like to fill the arches. You got any pics of yours?

At 15" it seems the widest is 5.5" which ruins the look.
Going back to Axl's point, surely if the original Mk1 Gti ran on 14's going to 13's with a lower profile would'nt make that much of a difference??

thats on 40mm springs, the coil overs are yet to go on, but i know that they are going to cause a bit of trouble if i go a bit lower.

@OSV - Cheers for that, everywhere else I looked at only had 15 x 5.5 but right enough Dubmeister have 7's and 9's. Off I go now to find some pics of a Mk1 with them on then....... :)

@ Jon P & Mk3_GPP - Thanks for the pics (both motors looking sweet BTW) Just leaves me even more undecided!!

Anyone else got pics of a cab on ATS Classics or Borbet A's??
