MK1 Engine problems

Hi all

I have just been cleaning my car, and noticed that I have oil coming out of the first spark plug port.

Whats wrong with it?

Have you ried putting a spark plug in the hole ..... sorry, I couldn't resist ! You could take the offending plug out and check the washer, clean the seat etc. It's more likely to be seeping down from the cam cover though...?

 

You sure it isn't leaking from the cam cover gasket and collecting in the sparkplug area?

 

I have just tighened up the spark plug and it was well loose.

So that must have been the culpurate
