    Thats a very nice Mk1! Like it a lot.

    I prefer the single headlamps for some reason tho.

    Ha ha, it didn't have the L plate on it in Retro!! Well done for getting it in the mag, all those Metro drivers will learn the only way is VW :lol:

    Ahh yes retro cars brill mag!
    Love the car the standard gti rims look lovley and the car looks in mint condition!
    Love the idea of the replica driver. Btw how do u find the driver engine, quick etc?

    The driver engine is alright, top speed on paper is 93mph,

    60bhp and 70 lb-ft, I cant really compare it to much cos I have only driven a fiesta which I am learning to drive in and a 1.0 mini and 1.0 nova (mates cars)

    Top speed 93!! i got 110mph out of mine !! could be a dodgy speedo though

    i got 100 out of mine but it must have been on a little bit of a slope.
    i get frustrated with the power or lack of it, sometimes i feel like the slowest car on the road[:x] , still love it though.[l]
    And cuz everyone thinks it's a gti i get imprezas, sunny gtir's and stuff pulling along side trying to race, so i jus pull the i'm too cool to race you card.[:D]
