MK1 GOLF N update 11/03/06

ok found that the golf al shall be getting is a GOLF N now what is a gof n is it the spec can any one give me any ifo on this. oh an its a old X reg so what year does it make it

ok yesterday went an seen the car its a 83 1.1l but its a 4 speed box, in lemon yellow i think. only got 68k on the clock. the inside of the car is very clean an the engine sounds very smooth only probs i can see it surface rust on the archs and on the bottom of the drivers door but if i do get it i will have it resprayed. heres some pics tell me what you think

yeah n is the spec just like c, gls or driver.
I think n is very, very basic.

 

Were Golf Ns still around in 81/82? - I thought they'd gone by then.

 

ok had a look on the dvla thing an it comes up as a 1.1l so will this be a 4 speed aswell?

ok will it be hard to make it a 5 speed considering al will be changing the engine

 

5 speeds available for small engines (085) and the GTI engines (020). Need to move the O/S engine mount for the GTI blocks.

yeh IF i do get this car it will remain the same colour but i might get it lackered a few more coats just get get it more shiner
