Did any of the MK1 Golfs ever come out the factory with power steering. I think i saw somewhere that certain cabrios did from 87 onwards.

Thanks Chris, i thought it was myself LHD, but wanted confirmation. No RHD, the guy selling it has given me a bit of waffle about cabs being fitted power steering upto 1992 as an option. MK1 on here confirmed what i suspected, that it was only LHD cabs. No good to me this kit then, unless i move abroad,lol.
only LHD was factory fit, however scirocco and mk1 cab were offered with rhd dealer fit power steering setups from a mobility firm I forget the name of (their speciality was disabled conversions and the like at the time)
