Brilliant vid, i havnt been to Gurston Down for ages. I used to go all the time with my step dad. Used to stand right next to the start and watch all the burnouts lol.

Ive got some old photos somewhere ill try and scan them and get them posted on here.

Yeah Gurston's great golf2, superb organisation. I've got some footage with some of the single seaters, I'll post it up when I get time nxt week.

There is Mike, from Castle Coombe track day last year. The only problem with it is my friends camera work... poor bloke could'nt hold the camera straight... dunno why !

I can post it up but you'll have to move yr head around a fair bit ... but you get all the "in-car" sound.

46.03, which is the current ASWMC A2 class record at Wiscombe. I'm sure Jon was there in 05 when I did that, think he was double drivin with Pete Stiles. Pity Jon went up to 2ltr.

he's on a 1.8 at the mo! last time he was there he broke his rear poly mount (one off of the diff housing) and posted a 48.5 iirc.. the mount was missing from the gate up so there's time to come off if he can keep it together this time. we ended up doing a temporary fix with a ratchet strap for his 2nd run although i think jon was missing some confidence knowing what was holding his car together!

cars had a good sort out over winter (had problems with a gap between panels next to the turret
