Mk1 Nomenclature

    hope i've spelt that poncey word right or i'll look a right t*sser!

    I'm a bit confused...

    Is a warm up regulator the same as a warm up valve?
    Is a cold start injector the same as a cold start valve?

    you should be able to work this out from your other thread, except to mention that the Warm Up Regulator is neither the cold start or the fifth injector. the WUR responds to changing engine temperatures and adjusts the mixture set by the metering head accordingly. on 16v models the WUR is also connected to the inlet manifold to allow air flow at the throttle body to be factored into the equasion.

    there is plenty of good info on how the k-jet works on the net. ;)
