I've never seen a mk1 fitted with one, and I've seen a lot of mk1s. Sorry!

With the right alloys, tyres and pressures, mk1s aren't that heavy anyway.

    Cheers,

    Drew.

Thanks for the support, but after some serious thinking we have decided that one must go.......another topic coming up soon....

    At 1000 + I'm not surprised......
Going to swap wheels to see what the Clipper is like with the P slots from the Gti, as the Clipper definitely has heavier steering, and they both have the same tyres, just 13" instead of 14". Camber and tracking have been regularly checked by Volksline....

Right - just looked at the cars.....

    Same tyres on both
    Gti 185/60 14" ET38 P slots
    Clipper - 175/70 13" ET 33 Speedlines - would this make a difference

i told you! ;) No one actually know what fits and what doesnt- i think it's a case of experimenting with other racks/parts etc but that isnt realy feasable as racks aint cheap.

WHen someone does actullay know could they put it in the tech bit. :)
