Someone had mentioned the relay. The throttle switch itself is working. On a good note, the car is behaving itself now. I replaced the ISV with another I managed to get my hands on. This hadn't been cleaned before - Same problem occured. With the help of pigbladder, I reset the idle a bit higher (nearer 1000) and its almost cured it. Revs only drop below idle if I'm say shuffling about during parking. Seems these 16v's are very sensitive.
i think idle is meant to be set at 950 revs on valvers anyway, mine is,sometimes cleanin the isv doesnt work iv had that prob lukily ive got 3 spare but they never go wen you have spares do they, one other thing dan sometimes the big air screw in the throttle body cloggs up and theres a rubber seal on it might be worth takin it out to examin it and give it a clean
