Just sprayed the carb cleaner all over the injectors, there was no noticeable difference to the sound or the running? i really did give them a good spraying over? does it make a difference if the engine is hot or cold?

There is a pipe out the the back of the head between 3 and forth injector too. So i've got the air shrouding injectors.

when we say injectors leaking, it was more fuel dripping out of them after switch off. you have proven the seals arent currently leaking, but still I'd change em while out they will probably be deformed. plus, may as well ;)

Cheers Johnny, that's what i was thinking.

I gave them a bit of a wiggle they all moved in a clicking movement side to side like the seals where hard. (but i was glad they moved)

    I've ordered one of these:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/220190534156?item=220190534156&viewitem=&vxp=mtr

Can you confirm these are the injectors i want?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-04375...TF8&qid=1438937544&sr=8-1&keywords=0437502045

    or

    http://www.golfgtisportline.com/index.php/product/bosch-injectors-0437502045/

This is the cheapest i can find them.

    Cheers

they look fine to me, double check the numbers on your old ones then i can see what they come back against if superseded.

I changes the injectors at the weekend.

They were really hard work to get out, but once they were out they were easy to change and get back in.

I think its solved the problem!!! I've had the car very hot twice and it started again fine, lovely and smooth. so i think you guys diagnosed the problem for me!!! thanks so much!

    Cheers

    Pete
