Hello, Apologies if this is in the wrong forum section. I recently noticed the exhaust bracket on my 1991 mk2 Golf 1.6 Driver has either come loose or broken. Please see the images below. http://postimg.org/image/wbt5n3sgt/ http://postimg.org/image/407lq28kd/ Unfortunately I couldn't get underneath the car safely to have a close look so I don't really understand how it fits back together. Does anyone know what part this is and if I just need to replace it or if something else has broken that needs repair? I really appreciate the help. Many Thanks,
That should be welded to the exhaust. Know anyone with a welder? 5 minute job, or a local friendly exhaust place or even a garage.
No because if you look at picture one you can see the rubber in the middle so this one is from the exhaust, as above, just needs welding back.
