Mk2 golf 16v lift Pump hose replacement???

    Not sure if this is just k jet only but I'm changing the lift pump in the tank and the hose that connects to it has a weird metal/rubber coupler on it! Mine is split and can't for the life of me get a hose to fit on there! I don't remember my wife's 8v being like this? How have people fixed this a simple job turning into pain in ass!!!

    its just a reducer pipe, cant remember the diameters off hand but that could be why you're struggling to fit your replacement hose on 1 side only!

    Yeah that's the one I'm trying to make a reducer of my own just makes a simple job that little bit more awkward!! I've read posts of people just putting hose on there even seen pictures but how the hell did they get it on there??
