Hi, wondering if anyone can help me.

I have a mk2 20v T bam engine code and went out for a blast the other day. On the way back it started running really rough, the idle was mental and it was misfiring quite a bit. The car starts fine but idles all over the place misfires and cuts out. Also at the same time the brakes gave up and its basically impossible to push the brake pedal down, dont know if this is related.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Does the engine run the factory engine controller?

Answer Toyotec, and then, check to see if you have a MAJOR vacum/boost leak.

Check for leaks in other pipes connected to your entire inlet system.
