    Hi guys,

Just joined up on the forum as I've just become the proud owner of a LHD 1989 Mk2 GTI 16v to complement my Mk4 GTI.

Anyway, this MK2 has really naff looking aftermarket "speedline" 14" alloys fitted. I've been offered a set of 15" BBS alloys by a mate in Germany from a similar GTI that died for 50 but as it's a little far to travel I was wondering if anybody on here could give me some ideas?

I'm looking for as OEM a look as possible but it doesn't have to be the BBS....what's out there and what size of tyre do the 15" BBS's take as standard?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

    Greetings,
    Mike

Yep - same here. I'd stick with RA's for a 'standard' look. :)

I think mine are RAs but in black [:s] ??

If someone could confirm (the name, not the colour [:^:] )

    I'm sure they must be.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

I guess the only way to go is the BBS route. I think I'll try and sort something out with my German friend as his 15" BBS ra's seem like a bargain at 50.

    Thanks again!
