quick query , would the intank pump from a mk2 GTI work as a supply for Webers? For a car with 180 ish bhp. If it's a case that "dead heading" the pump would burn it out , a swirl pot should overcome that?

    TIA.

ive seen a few people running the lifter pump to supply carbs, I'd fit some kidn of small swirl pot somewhere so there is a return back to the tank but it may be fine without?

Cheers RJ, it seems worth looking into, a simple OE style solution.

I'm running a low pressure facet pump in series with the in tank lifter pump on my mk2. It hasn't really been proven in competition yet, but time will tell....
